Blibbering Humdingers interview

MYSPACE: http://www.myspace.com/blibberinghumdingers

1. How do you get the Name for your Wrock Band?
When my wife and I were reading Deathly Hallows, we came to one of the last scenes. Luna creates a distraction for Harry by shouting "ooo look! it's a blibbering humdinger!". We LOVE Luna, and totally cracked up at this. We figured nobody else in their right minds would use a name like that...

2.How many people are in your Band?
2ish. Scott is kind of the driving force. Kirsten does some vocals and helps with some writing. Now and then we recruit another vocalist for live performances.

3. What advice do you have for Wrock Bands that are coming out?
Practice, and keep experimenting.

4.What is your Favorite Wrock Band and Muggle Band. And Why?

Wrock: I'd have to say Draco & the Malfoys because they have entirely too much fun, and are damn fine musicians.

Muggle: Jethro Tull - they have really eclectic sound that is part rock, part folk, part classical, part renaissance, part jazz, part blues. They defy classification and have always defined their own sound.

5.Where can people buy your cd's? If you have anying out?
We don't yet have an Wrock CDs. But my folk/filk/medieval stuff is available from http://camelot-treasures.com I'm planning some wrock releases soon, and they will also be available from there.

6.Have you ever gone to a Wizard Rock conferences or conventions?
Sadly, no. :(

7.Do you have Band t-shirts or anything like that out that Wrock Fans can Buy?
I've got some old socks I could autograph with a Sharpie or somethin... :)

8.Is there's any tours or shows coming out soon?
With 2 little kids at home, touring is pretty much out of the question. We mostly do shows around town.

9.What is the crazy thing a fan did for you, If so what was it? or Friend?
In the wizarding world, nuthin really.

10.Any new Song coming out?
We've got several in the works -

Open Mic Night at the Hog's Head
a comedic lovesong for Sirious Black
Herbology 101
a Fred & George pun song

11.Do you have any new website other then Myspace?Like a blog or wordpress?
nope

12.Do You have anything esle you want to say to your fans and Friends?
My wife and I have been writing and performing together since 1992. We mostly perform at SCA events. I find the Wrock community to be very much like the SCA bardic community in that there is a great atmosphere of sharing, helping each other, DIY, etc.
